Being a big connoisseur of various tasty cuisines and places where one may try them, David always wanted to leave his mark on the hospitality industry.

Today, when the world is increasingly becoming accustomed to contact-less payment options, the lack of cash at hand has become a common issue. David once faced this exact problem and couldn’t leave a tip as an appreciation of the staff’s work. The establishment hasn’t yet allowed tipping directly through his order’s check, despite allowing for otherwise cashless payment solutions. It is then that David saw an opportunity for modern technologies to help fix it. This became the bedrock upon which Martipia was built.

David built his career as a project manager in the Business Consulting field and worked for companies such as Nielsen and EY (Ernst & Young, Moscow). Now, he has become an entrepreneur with his own firms in Georgia. Holds leading management positions in several companies.

In Martipia, using his previously learned international business practices and know-how, he is acting as the CEO.
